#handsoff rally in #Harrisonburg today. It's a good start. Americans will need to learn from others how to grow, escalate, and sustain anti-authoritarian movements in order to push back the ongoing coup in the US.

This movie gave me nightmares as a kid. Every once in a blue moon, those nightmares still resurface.

I've biked to every #Harrisonburg Planning Commission meeting since June 2022. Winter riding is more challenging, but the benefits of #ebike commuting (regular exercise, better/closer parking, more conversations with neighbors) still outweigh the negatives for me. I don't miss being car-dependent.

People don't believe me when I say "it's easier to bike." For short distances in town, I frequently have a much easier time getting to and from destinations on my bike than I would have in a car.
