We went off-grid camping with friends last week. In retrospect, this was a bit too ambitious with a nine-month-old, but the memories we made were priceless—from meaningful fireside conversations to stargazing in perfect silence. It was chaotic, exhausting, and totally worth it.

In the first picture, I was carrying a lot of weight.
Some of it was physical. Most of it wasn't.

On the outside, I had a good life—meaningful work, an incredible wife, people who cared about me.
But inside, I felt rudderless.
I had no sense of purpose.

Went to see the tulips on Saturday with the family. With so much happening in the world, it was refreshing to step away for a while and simply enjoy time with the people I love most.
