Yeah, Gausman has 3 quality starts in 9 starts against the Dodgers. And tonight he’s making them look terrible. You must be a sad Giants fan.

Their hitters on the other hand haven’t done much the last 7+ games. Elite pitching yes. But Philly had better. Brewers had better. And they still look lost. Don’t mind me, I’m just watching with my 5&7 year old and putting this frustration somewhere other than the living room.

I get that. It was a nasty at bat. And like you’ve all mentioned, they’re stuck in between. But it is frustrating to watch their hitters look this bad. I should have clarified that Toronto looking great is a result of the competitiveness. Give me Yamamoto any day of the week.

The Dodgers are taking some of the least competitive at bats in the postseason. Teo takes a fastball down the middle. Swings at a ball in the dirt. Watches strike three. They deserve to lose the game at this point. This looks like a behemoth against a team that can’t even find the field.

He’s hard to watch. Whatever value his “presence” brings is outweighed by what he isn’t doing. Same with Barnes. You don’t need THIS many negative field and hitting players/positive clubhouse guys on a team.
