Just an ordinary guy doing the best he can.
I hate being late, and feel this way when others are late for me.

First song with the TalkBox, maybe?

If they wanna do that, OK by me.

I've stated my opinion, which won't change. All the talk about how it does work doesn't change my mind about how it should work.

Good discussion. Have a nice day.

For true fair competition in principle, each team should only be allowed to spend $X on players. The individual players can make whatever they can if it fits in their team's cap. Oners and players will still make millions.

I don't care what it is now. I know what I think (opinion) it should be.

There shoudl absolutely be a salary floor as well. The NHL has one. Teams MUST spend up to the floor to compete.

We obviously disagree on this, and that's OK.

I just want a level playing field. And with some teams able to spend 10x as much as other teams, the field ain't level. Yeah, you may get a small-market team get hot and win a World Series, but how long until other big-market teams poach their players?

Baseball isn't a traditional business. You need your competetors (other teams) to be healthy to have fair competition. No, profits shouldn't be capped. But salaries should be to maintain competetive balance, which is better for trhe league.

I'm not sure how relevant that is to what I said.

Players in capped leagues are still making a LOT of money.

Oddly, this was my entry point into Pink Floyd. Bought Lapse of Reason and liked it.

Then I bought Dark Side and was blown away...
