The Project 2025 Republican plan is like The Great Leap Forward disaster in China - 1958 to 1962, led by Mao Zedong, leading to between 15 and 55 million deaths. Strategy: Make rapid changes regardless of costs and lives lost. Lasted: 4 years. Total obedience. Ignore suffering. Catastrophic results.

2025 Civil War - We must wake up to the fact that the extreme right has started their war. They have breached the front lines and are now engaged in a constant onslaught to disorient the left. They have the courts, media, pentagon, nearly everything. We must fight back, and do so very quickly.

This is plain and simple market manipulation by Trump, and the (possibly) illegal sharing of insider information. He absolutely knew he was going to postpone the tariffs and that the stock market would rise substantially. There are many ways to transfer wealth to his buddies. This is one of them.

Tesla stock is WAY overpriced with a stock price to earnings ratio (P/E) of about 118. Ford and other major car makers have a P/E of ONLY about 6. I’m not a stock analyst, but like I said, Tesla is way overpriced, and their car sales are plummeting. One month stock price chart shows it’s down 32%.

Get educated on climate change. In a Google browser - type: the case for climate collapse. It will list many resources, and state partly the following: catastrophic consequences like widespread food insecurity, rising sea levels, extreme weather, ecosystem collapse, societal breakdown...

Republicans blame California for some fire hydrants running dry. But the fact is, fire hydrants, and their plumbing, are not designed to put out the fires of hundreds of homes at the same time. They’re designed for fires of 2 or 3 homes at the same time. The powerful Santa Ana winds were too much.

This is a good question. Bluesky is a test to see if we can do this social media thing right. So far - so good. Let’s hope that this little iceberg floating in a sea of blue doesn’t get lost amongst all the others of greater size and power. I believe that it is, in greatest part, up to us.

Love the fact that the Carter Center framed Trump out of the photo of Jimmy Carter’s funeral service. Trump and Melania (behind the column) were an ugly stain in the audience, so it is fine to remember the service in a more positive light.

Look, I know everyone wants to be done with the pandemic. It’s rare one even sees a mask nowadays. But with the H1N1 virus massively spreading in animals, if it mutates to infect humans, it could be very serious. I recommend stocking up on comfortable n95 masks. Then you’ll be ready 😷🤞

There needs to be a limit both on generational wealth, and on mass accumulation of wealth. A large portion needs to be redistributed back into society to benefit the citizens that helped the wealthy build it in the first place.
