The Northern City Line is quite quirky with mainline trains runnig on a former Underground line between Moorgate and Finsbury Park. The Cable Car is also a nice joyride, although a bit tourist-trap-y with its £7 fare

Siemens used it to promote Light Rail in Canada, but it was placed in storage most of its run over there. In 2016 TW 601 was transported back to Hannover and restored to working condition in the following years. Since 2021 it is used as part Hannover's fleet of heritage trams for railtour excursions

TW 601 was build in 1970 by Duewag and delivered to Hannover's tram operator ÜSTRA as a prototype for the soon to be converted Stadtbahn. It ran in revenue service for about 5 years and after it was made redundant by the delivery of the 6000-Series LRVs, TW 601 was sold to Siemens.
