Incredible run, unimpeachable legacy. Not only in some of the best films ever, but his acting academy taught and gave opportunities to so many. RIP Tatsuya Nakadai.

Kalen Artinian was a wonderful filmmaker and collaborator. We worked together a half dozen times, and I am heartbroken that there won’t be more. More than that, he was a stand up guy, who was always down to go see something or grab a slice. He was a friend.

Can’t believe it took me this long to read one of Le Guin’s novels. I’ve read and liked some of her short fiction, but this was really something special.
