I can't be the only one whose middling interest in the Lilo and Stitch Live Action completely evaporated when they found out Pleakley wasn't going to be rocking wigs and dresses, right?

Labubu popularity is certainly linked to greater global instability and strife. As things become more unsure, the desire to retreat into self imposed infantilisation and trinkets for comfort grows. Add an insidious lootbox mechanic and you have a perfect Labubu Storm. Oh, and they're cute, I guess?

I remember discussing the MCU with friends a while ago and we came to the conclusion that no matter how good or had a Marvel film is, they are never really going below 2 stars or above 3.5 stars. The pure nature of them prevents them rising or sinking beyond these limits.

Extremely curious for a post-American TikTok. On one hand, some of my favourite creators are American. On the other, I've already seen more Aussie and other countries being pushed to me on the algorithm and it's nice not being forced into the US monoculture.
