I was glad to see Wisconsin sent this out ahead of time yesterday. They even emphasize medicaid coverage, which is key.

There is a vote scheduled for December 4, where ACIP members will vote to make their recommendations. This typically involves recommending who should receive which vaccines and when (known as vaccine schedules). Once ACIP votes, the recommendations are then sent to the CDC Director, who must provide their endorsement. If the CDC Director endorses the ACIP recommendations, the CDC will then release its updated clinical considerations, which provide detailed clinical guidance for administering vaccines.
What this means for Wisconsin vaccinators
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is aware there may be updated vaccine recommendations as a result of the December 4-5 ACIP meeting. [my highlighting] *Our agency will review these recommendations as well as the vaccine recommendations from other leading national health and medical organizations and determine how they may impact access to vaccines in our state.*
While the new recommendations are under review by the CDC director and DHS, *Wisconsin vaccinators should continue to administer vaccines under the current guidance. Wisconsin Medicaid will continue covering currently recommended vaccines for members.*

Just a friendly reminder: the way we hold politicians accountable to the will of the people is boycotts and strikes. Voting alone, even if your team wins, will never be useful without that accountability.
