If California goes ahead with their plans to redistrict, in response to Texas.. who doesn't end up redistricting... Then it will signal to a lot of people that Texas was an excuse, regardless of the facts.

Fact is Californias redraw is meant to counter Texas. So if Texas doesn't get to redraw, California shouldn't either.

Sincerely hope Democrats keep up the momentum in the midterms, and manage to stop the fascism train.
If that happens, even more hopeful that they can undo some of the damage, and maybe put some new guard rails in place to stop a repeat of all this. A delayed slide into fascism isn't really good

It is expensive, but I'm honestly wondering if the expense would be worth it.
After all, California is one of the strongest State economies in America. I don't know the details, and this isn't an accusation l, but if it could help, even a little, it might be worth some investment in the future.
