I scavenged some monitor arm mount thingies from work and was able to really get a good setup going. But they're very, very heavy and require extra-strength anchoring.

I can't recommend Obsidian enough. It's got a lot of extensibility because of the plugin ecosystem, but even just out-of-the-box it is great.
The ability to define and add whatever metadata you want to your files is great.
