Craig & I are waiting to see the genius Cecile McLoren Salvant perform—w/pianist Sullivan Fortner—and I can’t believe it: 12 ft from the mic. Not crowded small venue. Am I really going to experience that voice… this close? 😄🤩 (It’s giving poetry reading.) @cteicher.bsky.social
