Those who deserve grace most are the ones who offer it generously to others, and rarely for themselves.
Have a list of what your "Needs" and "Nice-To-Haves" are *before* you get into the relationship. And don't compromise your needs. Period.

Build a super strong space for trust in the first 6 months. Be able to say *anything* truly vulnerable to each other during that time.

I've been really liking the mantra "Intolerance of intolerance" lately.

People who make a space safe for others who mean well, that's valuable.

But those who are unaccepting of others, and harm them, showing a lack of tolerance for that is important for facilitating a healthy space.

These people often did not give us space to feel our emotions and rejected our words.
In order to move past this, one must break down that pattern, ask ourselves what happens if we WERE to give ourselves that space, and explore our emotions and self inside that opportunity.

The fact that you are apologetic, well- intentioned, and selfless, shows that you deserve grace and understanding from others.
True friends wouldn't want to harm you, even when they are harmed. Loving is accepting the unintended harm, providing gentle feedback, and then wanting to be with you still.
