Look at the evidence. Emery inherited Cash 2 and a half seasons ago and he's still in the side. Emery is a proven expert in his field. The anti Cash crew are not experts I'm guessing. They just don't see a game like Emery sees it - and I don't either. I know I'm not an expert.

If Onana's talent can be bought and sold for an agreed price, I accept that the women's talent can be bought and sold for an agreed price. Is it not buying and selling athletes in both cases? Where is the shift in morality that I'm overlooking?

Aren't all pro footballers commodities that are bought and sold? We bought Onana as a commodity for 50m. The whole conversation around PSR is around buying and selling commodities. I may have misunderstood what selling a team means as opposed to selling a player.

PSR takes all the morality of the game. Clubs bought their way to the top and then PSR told all other clubs to live within their means. One of those teams still faces charges of immoral behavior. So my moral position is that if any club has to do some 'deals' to compete in that world-so be it.

PSR forces clubs to think money over morals. Will the women's team not be 'Aston Villa' anymore then? I don't think I understand what actually changes. The men's team are technically owned by Edens and Sawiris aren't they?

I would genuinely like to know what the concern is with this. What will change? Would rather not have to dig through Google to find out what the implications are.

Agreed. I think our Achilles is still these games we 'should' be winning-especially away. If Man City had been on form I think we'd have beaten them.

It is absolute BS. Pundits want the ref to be consistent but at the same time they want the ref to ignore the rules. I don't believe the rules state anything about letting the game flow - or how early in the game it is - or how many fouls he's made - or ruining it for the neutral.

Newcastle have been rampant and Isaak is the best striker in the league IMO. Was very worried about this game. The last team I'd want to be playing considering we often have a CL hangover. A real statement win and should have scored more. Onana was a beast when he came on-and a beauty of a goal!
