Mostly conflicted: love work/want to retire, climate concerned EV driver/motorsport enthusiast, it goes on. Watching my small plot in Co Armagh rewild itself. I'll never have a headstone because I'm going out in a blaze of firey stardust.

@susiedent.com My wife plays two words regularly. Tonight I'm sure she said "you know that Susie Denture's game, you should see what word I used to win". oh, Dent! My hearing isn't what it was.

Not that it will surprise you, I just happened to see this on FB. Some of the comments lean heavily towards a violent response. Clearly a need for education and persuasion.

It has been a rough 10 days. The pleasure of a trip to Barcelona soon forgotten.

MotoE Catalunya, probably not everyone's cup of tea. In fact lots of people probably have their reason to hate it, not fossil fuel enough, or not green enough, who knows but enjoyable Motorsport.

What made you smile today? For me it was spotting the first House Martin of the year. They nest in the eaves of the house and garage during the summer. This time of year we see the ocassional advance visitor who might disappear again for a while. Made me genuinely happy 😁

As storm Bert has moved in across Ireland we have seen the temperature go from -1°C to +13° in just 24 hours. Quite striking. This is the Callan river, Armagh. Usually little more than a large stream at this point in its journey.

This summer, I was aware of two wasp nests in the garden. One on a grass bank, one in a fallen Willow tree trunk. I would wander down and watch them, buzzing in and out; never noticing me. One day both nests were spilt asunder. Who did this?
