Makes sense they would, I’m not sure why we didn’t do that rather than taking the whole Mac in for service.

Oh yeah that’s it!

Do caddy drives have a paper-clip manual eject mechanism?
November 9, 2025 at 3:20 PM
It was a caddy load drive, so we had to take the machine in for service several times to have them eject the CD if The Animas crashed.
I assume the CD was mastered with corrupt boot blocks or something, maybe someday I’ll investigate it…

Looking at you, Super Bowl

This! And very glad the “other games” info is just a transparent little box in the top-left, not some giant colored full-width bar.

I think CBS’s production is better in every way than FOX. 1080i > 720p, better scorebug, Ian Eagle.

It’s in the (craptacular, doesn’t support PIP) MW app on phones. Apparently not on TVs though

Pretty cool, although it’d really be perfect with the mid-90s red/white/blue Boeing house livery.

Sadly no Douglas metal at the Long Beach stores, but one has a Spruce Goose.

Oh yes, how could I forget. Also, every livery needs a face on the tail. Chester, Pualani…John Wayne for AirCal? Washington or Lincoln for USAir?

Ooh I’ve got that one on cassette

Forgotten now, but OG CarPlay was introduced as “iOS in the Car” and was only renamed when it shipped several years later

Their previous one wasn’t good either, but this needs to be 20% smaller
