I need to learn more about the west marches format of RPGs. Backed the new Shadowdark West Reaches set in anticipation of building a local group.

I’ll be performing speed weddings, and we’ll have tons of resources available for trans folks. Most importantly, we’ll have a lot of people who want you to know you’re wanted, loved, and every bit a part of this community as anyone else.

Part of why folks doing social improvement work burn out is that their friends tell them “I want to do something” when they mean “I want to feel better.” If you aren’t already active, actually knowing what you want is essential. Going to your friends, signing on, then disappearing hurts a lot.

Building a repository of LGBTQ+ resources for Tri-Cities folks. Our queer friends are having to answer the same questions for folks repeatedly. This will give them a tool to point people toward vetted, reliable sources of information, safety, and community without taking more of their energy.

CRM has launched for our community outreach department. Yesterday I met with the two people responsible for teaching and creating a better learning environment for all of PSD’s visually impaired students. They had some fantastic, and immediately functional ideas that I’m currently scoping out.

Called in sick for a mental health day. Sending emails to representatives, dropping off some board games to a cold shelter, running a therapeutic GM session, spending some money at queer owned businesses. Probably start developing some free rpg utilities for remote gaming. Little bits.
