Left: Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS over Deep Sky Eye observatory in Quinan, Nova Scotia. This was a single exposure, with bright moonlight.
Right: meteor with brilliant setting moon below it. Orange-yellow meteors usually have sodium in their composition. This one was spinning at it fell.

This post is getting my first reply; I'm new here. How wonderful to see these images! I work part-time at an observatory here in Nova Scotia, as the astronomer's assistant. My special interest is astrophotography using my camera and an array of lenses. Here are a couple pics from my own yard.
