I’m taking time to reflect on peace during this 2nd Sunday of Advent. Peace is more important than ever, because we’re living in a world where turmoil and hate are gaining traction.

I hope you experience peace today and in the days to come.💜

On days when life feels heavier than usual, and it’s hard to see your worth, extend the same kindness and grace you give to others to YOU!

Maybe you are by yourself or maybe this Thanksgiving you are missing your loved ones for many reasons.

Sometimes, quiet can be a gift. Make today meaningful even solo. Remember to give yourself some grace.

Uh-oh, the debut did not go as planned. This AI powered humanoid robot known as AIDOL stumbled and then face planted to the Rocky soundtrack. So much for the hype.

In honor of my mom, a survivor, her sister (my auntie) who faught hard and passed away, to a dear friend who departed this life; and to all the women and men who are fighting this disease every day.💗 #BreastCancerAwareness

May this first Thursday in October be filled with joy and an unexpected miracle.

It’s human nature to want to be surrounded by people who appreciate you for you, not for what you can or cannot do for them.

I want beautiful things to happen to you and for you, and when they do, believe that you are worthy of every single gift!

When life feels too full, and lately it’s has been for me. Remember to pause, breathe and reflect. Reassess when needed.

Give yourself permission to take a short break from the chaos!

I’m feeling a little nostalgic. Thinking of watching 3 favs:

“The Way We Were”
“The Sting”
“Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”
“All the President’s Men”

One must first be willing to be taught. Hate grabs our attention, but it also divides us and we’re seeing that more each day. What are we to do?

Remembering Marcy Borders. She was employed as a legal assistant for Bank of America. Marcy survived the collapse of the World Trade Center’s north tower on September 11th. Sadly she was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August 2014 and passed away in August 2015 at the age of 42.🕊️

It’s been a day and no amount of comfort food is helping to calm the cortisol in my body. Before you ask, no I don’t have the energy to work out to relieve my stress hormones, maybe tomorrow. Gun violence is never the answer.

Release the disappointment because:

🔹holding onto it only weighs you down

🔹your peace is more valuable than your pain

🔹what is on the horizon deserves your energy

🔹letting go creates space for joy & possibilities

Even on the cloudiest of days, the sun is still peeking through the trees. If you’re feeling like you’ve had way more cloudy days than sunny ones, you’re not alone. Brighter moments have a way of finding us, often when we least expect them. Keep holding on, your sunshine is on its way.
