In 1938 British PM allowed Hitler to annex land without the Czechs involvement. Wasn't enough. 1 year later Europe was at war. Check out the screenshots, especially the last para on the 2nd.
Trump is repeating this in Ukraine. Americans may not know this but Europe remembers. Don't ignore history.

Good morning from Sydney and week 2 of the US political soap opera.
I worked for a company with a high casual workforce, mainly migrants, so immigration visited regularly.

Woke up this morning to see this cheeky elf trying to get into our beer. He's been banished to the naughty corner for the day.

I knit for a group on Facebook who send warm clothing to kids in Syrian refugee camps.
This is my first set for the season. Jumper, cowl, beanie and skivvy. Played yarn chicken and lost so waiting for another delivery to make the mittens. The wool is alpaca/wool blend and is so warm.

Took the whole weekend but the tree is up. Our first real one since we were kids. Thankfully the needles aren't dropping though I found the angel on the floor this morning. The question is, did she fall or was she pushed??

Anyone living in Brisbane and fancy a visit to the theatre I can recommend this play.Saw it in Sydney at the Opera House. A small amount of four letter words in a certain scene caused a ripple of laughter that considering the older age of the audience surprised me. Kept close to the book plot too.

Having morning tea at a cafe called The Pallet. Every bit of furniture is made from old pallets.
Just dropped the car in for its registration check and even though I know it'll be fine I'm filled with dread in case the mechanic finds something 🫣

Lots of people migrating to this site lately so thought I'd have a peek myself.
This is my latest read. Love Chris Hammer's books.
I'm a novice writer, haven't even gotten to the final draft stage yet, but enjoying the process.
Oh, and I also knit.
