I’m not sure if you’re mentioning BE here but in my opinion, from before I left Twitter, his takes can be good but he is totally “bad vibes”. He thrives on callouts and fighting and will not give an ounce of slack even with supposed “friends” or “allies”. He cannot survive without Twitter.

I remember this one channel, Historian Civilis, that covered the post-Caesar dropping a video about the “tyranny of the clock”, and these types of people acting shocked as if every single video wasn’t about the failures and grotesqueness of the Roman leadership

IIRC, he whined about Warhammer becoming too woke and full of “tourists”, left for BattleTech, was shocked to find that no one liked him or wanted him around, and now drifts around as your average reactionary with an AI-generated pfp.

IIRC, he whined about Warhammer becoming too woke and full of “tourists”, left for BattleTech, was shocked to find that no one liked him or wanted him around, and now drifts around as your average reactionary with an AI-generated pfp.
My thoughts are: 1) it’s origins on 4chan 2) a large concentration of socially isolated/awkward/chronically online people and 3) a fandom so insulated that it’s easy to ride the wave of a meme/trend into an “internet-famous” position where you can leech from it if you choose. It’s primed for abuse
