I've been with Verizon for like 12 yrs now, more if you count when I had their internet. Anywho I'm cancelling my service and researching other companies. I know Mint is owned by T Mobile BUT per Goods Unite Us Mint has a perfect score so since options are limited I think they are my new choice.

I live in Northern WI, worried how this will effect us but I also understand and support Canada in this. I also wonder if this will be an excuse for power companies to raise rates regardless if they are impacted

I mean that I don't think that most Americans see the actual reality and impact of what this looks like. Yes we know that "Islam bad" but we don't see the actual real life impact. In my opinion all of the realities of everyday people suffering around the world is just another news story to many

I'm not sure what makes me more sad about this, the fact that this is reality for so many people in this world under these regimes or that the majority of Americans are clueless that it is a reality. I knew things were bad but the past 6 weeks have shown me just how ignorant the u.s. truly is

My parents as well, I've also paid since I was 14 and they can fuck all the way off if they think they can just take this away from us. Veterans benefits as well, my dad is a Vietnam Vet and finally getting some sort of acknowledgement via benefits now that he's older. I despise these people so much

I'm pretty sure you can change your W4 with your employer to claim exempt and not have federal taxes taken out of your check. I am not sure what the consequences of doing that without qualifying as exempt are.
Overall I think these ideas are a great I hope it gains traction.

That was my first thought as well. One of my history teachers in high school was there when he was in college and I will never forget him telling the class that story.
