I love Titanfall 2. It’s one of my favorite fps games. I also play Apex Legends with friends. People who remain hardcore TF fans and blame Apex for a lack of TF3 are annoying, but make up a lot of the current player base of TF/2. We could have an appreciation for each game independently. But no 😔

I think that tends to be a big thing in those circles mostly because of the dedication to staying in them. A lot of people like old shooter games but most of those same people also like a lot of modern games. When retro shooter circles form, it’s usually out of rejection of modernity.

Suburban and rural america is car hell. You can’t do anything here without a car.
Once you factor in modern economic conditions, you realize nobody raised in these areas can afford a car either. Everyone my age is relying on someone else to drive them around. It’s awful.

Just about every stupid thing they do in this administration is gonna come with some kind of death toll. Trumps first administration had a significant death toll with his denial of Covid. I try not to use inflammatory rhetoric but these politicians are literally killing people. It’s mass murder.

I mean, skin does weird things when you’re old, but I wouldn’t doubt his appearance is also related to some weird diet he’s on. Between that and the brain worms, I don’t think he’s healthy either. I just also doubt he’s as unhealthy as Trump on his McDiet. We’ll see which one has complications first

Spasmodic Dysphonia. Causes the quaking in his larynx and vocal cords which is why he sounds like that. I think it’s something you’re born with. There are some treatments but no real cure. Makes it kind of impressive that he got into politics in the first place until you remember he’s a Kennedy.

I don’t understand these rich people’s endgame here. Most of their wealth is built on consumption under capitalism. If everyone dies in wildfires, floods, and the unmitigated spread of disease, whos gonna buy their crap?. Riches mean nothing in a dead economy. They’re headed for a collapse.
