Love’s in Need of Love Today

Lead with love. Hearts found on the street one day on my run in Santa Cruz. I vow to lead with love and push away the hate.

Vitis californica, wild grape emergence after years of silence. With the right conditions, this will grow to be an enormous riparian woody vine, twining in and around the trees along the river. The unseen will become seen.

I’ll be putting out flowers and local native seedlings for neighbors. Sometimes I just don’t know what to do about the state of the world, the US, our fragile democracy. But I have to do what I can to spread love, because that’s what breaks darkness.
