Some of the weapons are also way harder to learn than others imo, longsword, greatsword, dual blades, sword and shield, hammer are all pretty straightforward. Switch axe, charge blade and glaive are a little spicier and I think the ranged ones are like a completely different game

Also the game doesn't have a very good tutorial in my opinion you might be better off with YouTube videos haha

Grappling as in mounting? They nerfed it a bunch in wilds and put a lot more emphasis on wounds and focus mode, otherwise you just have to learn the monster and weapon movesets. I think it took me days to get used to World

They have a pretty steep learning curve but if you can stick with it long enough they're really rewarding, if grindy
