Breathing stuck around in Ishgard, transitioned and became a fierce proponent of the church
Breathing continued working with the mob and fought his way to the top, becoming Much Worse.

Breathing Flame's elder brother was smarter, stronger, and all-around more competent than her. He shows up briefly in A Realm Reborn and they get along about as well as they did when they were 12-- full of love for each other, tempered by Roegadyn social custom and a lot of bitterness.

As a student of art history I can't pick any one piece of art, but I have several favorites: Flemish masters like Rubens, Byzantine mosaic, Shang Chinese bronzes, and the formline work of Pacific Northwest peoples like the Haida and Tlingit, all reside fulltime in my head.
