I don't handle passive aggressiveness well, nor do I dish it out. BUT I am petty enough to unblock people I absolutely hate from my distant past and visit their profile enough that I show up on their "people you might know."

Rewarding myself with TikToks between completing sets of questions in the online NRP precourse feels like peak ADHD.

My toddler thought we forgot about him while he played in our closet. The smile I got when I walked in to get him was honestly the best ever ❤️

Reasons I can't name my kid Charlie:

1. I would never stop saying "come to Candy Mountain, Charlie"
2. Charlie would never eat a chocolate candy bar in peace ever again
3. So many fake mustaches would be in his lunch bags
4. I'd be reminded of All Dogs Go To Heaven at least once a month and cry

I didn't know there was a whiny stage to toddlers and his saving grace is that I love him and he's my sweet baby that I would do anything for, even suffer through his bipolar swings from totally happy and content to whining VERY LOUDLY.

So my kid fell asleep for the night at 1630 after a hard day at the playground. We thought it was just a nap, like for a half hour. Nope! Tried to wake him up and NOPE! So it's going to be a rough night.

Toddlers are wild. One second they're drinking milk about to sleep, then full force sit up, run off to play with their toys, pokes themselves in the eye and when they fling their head back from that, they smack it on their crib. Scream. Cry. Throw up. Cuddles. Then back for more.

I feel like they're calling Urban Fantasy by the nomer "Magical Realism" to make it more palatable for the general population. Tons of stories that are listed under Urban Fantasy overlap the seam that people say separate the two, and I am just annoyed by the whole thing.

Since deciding our kid is old enough and healthy enough to start really playing where other kids play, I've learned the stress that is the public outdoor playground. Like cool other moms! But my social battery is the same size as a guy saying, "Baby, it's cold in here."
