The scary moral quandary to ponder as South Africans is whether our intention is truly peace and preservation of human life or protecting our interests.
Peace is always preferred, but the issue is not pushing for assurances that M23 will be disarmed or, at the very least, not actively supported by Rwanda.

This isn't covered in the video but earlier this year Ramaphosa and Kagame's super ominous talks earlier this year spelled potential for SAMIDRC to be disengaged in favour of 'peace talks.' Here is a decent article going over the details of this discussion. issafrica.org/iss-today/ra...

The DA people are essentially the equivalent of the average American liberal. It’s what happens when people get red-scared. Meanwhile in SA the word ‘comrade’ essentially just means bestie at this point.
