#boardgames #boardgamesky lords of Vegas (10/10) it’s a top ten contender and possibly Goty. So much gambling fun with area control and negotiation mixed in. Duck and cover (7/10) and zany penguins (7/10) also played. Penguins was a hidden Cathala that reminded me of arboretum with drafting

#boardgames #boardgamesky today was Skymines (9/10) . I was really impressed by this investing game. I never had played Mombasa but the interaction on the main board and managing your hand and tracks were really engaging and brain burny

Con day 3 : mesos (7/10) reef project (7/10) and dune imperium uprising (10/10). Dune is my favorite board game period. It’s always so tense and tactical and I ended up losing with a tiebreaker at 10 points. Every experience with it is a joy

Concordia (8/10) and Regicide (7/10 - also not pictured) . I liked both better since my first plays of each. Regicide won and played with two which was way more enjoyable then solo. Concordia was only my second play but my first time using the salt and market tiles w salsa #boardgames #boardgamesky

Tonight we played Azul (10/10) perfect two player drafting game, Thunder road w leaders and extra hazards (10/10) I won a close game in the choke with a final slam, panda royale (5/10) a dice chucking filler game and Cat Blues (8/10). My ranking for cat blues is going up it is really growing on me

Imperial 2030. #boardgames #boardgamesky the stock market manipulation and who “owns” each superpower elevates this from Antike….its also more battle heavy. Gotta be honest got some laughs roleplaying this one (you gotta have the right attitude). China ended up with the lead w. Russia close 2nd.

Saltfjord and Antike 2. #boardgames #boardgamesky I really enjoyed Antike 2 simple streamlined rondel turns. Saltfjord seems like it has potential but was to tired after Antike to judge correctly and had a poor first play

Five games in tonight. Penguin party (7/10) light fun filler Knizia, Cat Blues (8/10) bidding Knizia card game, Fairy ring (8/10) very nicely produced drafting game, Wandering towers (6/10) goofy wizard movement, and Fishen (9/10) prob one of the best trick takers played in recent memory imo

4 really great #boardgames today. Reef project (simple pretty mid weight euro) 7.5/10, Aeterna (civ by M.Wallace with neat drafting and card play) 8/10, square for sale (Asian bidding abstract )8/10 & Cascadero (modern Knizia with TEETH) 9/10. I would gladly play all of them anytime. #boardgamesky

Played an awesome game of Trickerion (a heavy and quite interactive worker placement programming game) . This seems to get better with every play of it I have , it’s very thematic and really rewards forward planning. #boardgames #boardgamesky

First solo game of Regicide to learn the game. Man this game is tough (gameplay wise, rules are simple) but it’s a great card based puzzle. Can’t wait to try it coop with others as I get the most joy of gaming that way. Would def recommend this one. #boardgames #boardgamesky
