Long flights can be pretty cool. Over Washington state and these mountains make the ones back east look like speed bumps.

Music Question Friday: Look What You Made Me Do Edition. We've done this one before, but let's throw the Swifties a bone on release day and do it again: give me a track you enjoy put out by a female artist. Solo act or a group of ladies, either plays today.

Music Question Friday: Bright And Early Edition. Give me a track that helps you get moving in the morning. Morning commute staple, a go to while you're sipping on your coffee, heck, maybe even set as your alarm on your phone. What gets you going in the morning?

Music Question Friday: You Gotta Hear This Edition. Give me a track that you enjoy sharing with others and don’t expect them to know. A deep cut from an older band, some indie band you know doesn’t have a big following, or a creator you happened to stumble upon and haven’t heard people talking about

Music Question Friday: Front And Center Edition. Done a few of these asking for background music, so let's go the other way. Give me a track that when it's playing, it's got your complete attention. Conversations are paused, other devices are muted, that song gets its time.

Music Question Friday: Better Lucky Than Good Edition. Give me a track you enjoy that you ran into largely by chance. Algorithm took a shot at your taste, randomly caught it playing in a store, or someone queued it up on the jukebox and it stuck with you.

Music Question Friday: On The Road Again Edition. Done this before, but I'm staring down a rather lengthy drive at the moment, so give me your favorite driving music. Something that makes the hours behind the wheel zip right on by.

Music Question Friday: Outside The Norm Edition. People tend to gravitate to a small handful of genres of music, but I’m pretty sure everybody has at least a song or two that falls outside those typical genres that they really enjoy. Give me one of those tracks.

Music Question Friday: So Much Nothing To Do Edition. Hoping it’s a mellow Friday evening for all of you reading this, and in that spirit give me a track you like to put on when you’re relaxing. If you could give doing nothing in particular a background track, what would it be?

White Claw Zero Proof: not even once.

Music Question Friday: Wanna Fight About It Edition. It’s EVO weekend, and in the spirit of that give me a song that gets you in a fighting mood. Maybe not to the point you come to actual blows, but a track that gets you feeling feisty and confrontational.

Music Question Friday: As Old As You Feel Edition. Some music can be decades or even centuries old and still feel relevant in the modern day, but there’s other songs where if they start playing in 2025 the first thought is “damn, that’s a throwback.” Give me one of those throwbacks that you like.

Music Question Friday: You Gotta Try This Edition. Give me a track you actively recommend to people. One you link to people in discord, one you ask to sneak in as one song real quick to someone driving a playlist, or just one you're excited to talk about when asked what you're listening to lately.

So the profile pic I'd been using was a shot someone got of me at the very first GDQ. That was like 15 years ago, so maybe time for an update, and why not with a pic Fish (don't have a tag) got of me this most recent event. It's not common for me to like a photo of myself, but this one goes hard.

Been years, but back on that garage sale grind this AM. Just turned 5 dollars into this, the deals are still out there.

Music Question Friday: Off Target Audience Edition. Give me a track that you enjoy that, to your mind, wasn't written with you as the intended audience.
May 2, 2025 at 9:05 PM
Music Question Friday: No Substitute Edition. Give me a band or act (and a track, of course) that scratches a musical itch for you in a way nothing else can. A case where when you get the urge it’s not wanting X type of music, but this act in particular.
April 18, 2025 at 9:35 PM
Music Question Friday: First Impressions Are Important Edition. Give me a track that you feel has a very strong intro. Could be samples, opening lyrics, or just a generally solid riff, any song that makes you sit up and take notice when it starts playing.
April 11, 2025 at 9:07 PM
Music Question Friday: Now I'll Show You My True Form Edition. Give me a track you enjoy that doesn't really get rolling or show its best parts until you're a decent chunk of the way through it. Starts off in the OK to meh range, but turns into an absolute banger before it's all said and done.
March 14, 2025 at 8:29 PM
Music Question Friday: 50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong Edition. Deep cuts and more obscure artists are great and all, but there's something to be said for the things that succeed in the mainstream. Give me a track that you expect most people to recognize that you really like.
February 28, 2025 at 4:40 PM
Music Question Friday: Algorithmically Speaking Edition. Most of my listening to music these days is site/service auto generated playlists. Sometimes the robot takes a shot on something random, and that can work, so give me a track where the algorithm hit your taste just right.
