I think there's room for healthy skepticism of big promised changes but the last year or so has *generally* been marked by SE giving people what they've been begging for on their knees for years now so idk, I feel like EW and DT's respective lulls woke them up a fair amount. If it sucks it sucks.

I made my peace with this one by convincing myself that it's simply not a restriction they can implement that granularly; I don't know how true it is but it seems plausible enough and feels like a reason they'd reverse course on it since IIRC they said "maybe but no AF" several times before this.
