Like maybe something specifically happened at the 1936 games that makes you say this. I wouldn't wager against it considering it was the nazi olympics. But it's not the first modern olympics very far from it.

I have to wonder if I'm missing something here, because the first modern olympics happened in Athens in 1896. and then happened every four years from then on until now. with the only exception being 1916.

yeah. When Sanda is good it's really good. but having read beastars as well Paru Itagaki is IMO the kind of writer who needs a stern editor to keep her on track lmao.

and there's like a solid 50-60 chapters where Fuyumura as a person and as a result Ono take a backseat in favor of a big fight arc but as of most recent chapter the Fuyumura backseat has ended so we could get back to Ono and resurrecting her but it's still up in the air.

oh boy, so Ono just straight up dies. But also the ability to ressurect the dead becomes a thing so she could come back but as of current chapter that hasn't happened yet.

I'm so eternally glad I live in a country that has developed its own type of paypro so we're not completely dependent on the american ones because this has been such bullshit throughout
it's not perfect. things could be better but at least I can buy things without relying on the grace of the US

yeah it's kind of incredible how low effort some of the crossover sets are. Just pure moneymaking and no one in the MTG space is happy with it.

it's especially funny because if Cuomo had just taken the L in the primaries, then Mamdani might have cleared 70 if not 80 percent of the vote. either way 50% in an election with more than two options is always ridiculously high.

it's very funny because like, even within DND you can find better than 5e. and while I'm not the biggest pathfinder defender it's still worlds more interesting to play lmao.

the big thing then is that modern screens just no longer run the risk of having static images burn into the screen anymore so no more need for a screensaver.

turning the screen off was always just the best option but when you step away and came back an hour later the pixels would literally get stuck on the image you left the screen with if the computer didn't start playing screensavers while you're gone so it would at least display some dynamic movement
