Lilo & Stitch is great btw - pls don't listen or read reviews from jilted old dudes. They're kids films and it's supposed to be wholesome fun.

- I was terminated twice last year for things outside of my control
- I got rejected from a dream opp for being too senior at 25
- I very narrowly missed out on joining a stellar AAA dev with hundreds of applicants
But we've got to keep swimming.

I will stop talking about the game eventually but...
- The books being tied to skills
- "Skill points" being obtained through exploration and interacting with the environment
- Money as a reward which let's you find more books and more mysteries.
it's such a simple cycle but it's so so good
