My heart is heavy as we learn of yet another tragedy in Rusinga island. Another body of a woman was found in the same spot where another woman’s body was discovered barely a month ago. In my mind there is an ecological community somewhere in the world where we grow the vegetables and fruits together and work in the soil with our hands, learn what is healthy for the body and mind, connect with nature and ourselves.

I had the pleasure of visiting Pyrenees-orientales tree nursery department and their garden. I left feeling in a zen state of mind and more excited about trees than ever have before which I didn’t think was possible… if you know me you know I’m a tree nerd.

It was great researching the forest by being in the forest. It’s a whole new way to research, but the idea is to be open.
I feel this is like school - because the system strives to make everyone the same - same facts, behave in the same way .

20 new young agro-ecologists graduates. Completed a Pilot Children Permaculture Design Course and it was wonderful!
We had a bunch of fortunate kids... 😉, getting ‘red-pilled’ into the awesomeness of the natural world. Giving them contact with Nature...with Life.

I just got back from a Mushroom growing workshop where I was as a lead facilitator and it was wonderful! 🍄✨The Training experience itself was incredibly pleasant, gentle, and lovely. The preparation was so well done that I wasn't nervous at all!
