Just one example of how far the US has fallen: Seeing this on financial sites (B&M and cyber) brings, at best, a sad chuckle at the ridiculousness...but mostly just sadness.

While I empathize with their distress (brought on by the fantasy they exist within), my chief concern/focus is with the children (who are in their care) who are being tossed into the altar flames (another facet of their "loving" deity) in a desperate act of appeasement.

Hegseth (and, naturally, Trump) brought to mind Paul Fussell's book, "Wartime" - specifically, chapter 7: Chickenshit, An Anatomy ( -yes, of course: I had to get it off of the shelf to find the chapter number...I'm crazy, not insane 😉 ).

Reading it, I read "Trump/MAGA/2025" wherever it called out dangerous individuals/groups - fits like a glove!
