This woman is a super sarcasmer (my word). As an orthodox Agnostic with Atheist tendencies I immediately followed her!

Those idiots who voted for him blew it. Those people with an ax to grind and refused to vote for Harris blew it. Those pathetic slugs who didn’t care enough to vote blew it. The rest of us who voted to protect our country and still fight against this shite didn’t blow it.

I retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in 2016. I’ve seen it from the inside and as a Business Continuity professional tested its resilience. It always passed with flying colors. I’m proud to have been a part of it.

For months we hear about young men fleeing Ukraine rather than serving to protect her. It seems as though ‘the future of Ukraine’ generation isn’t dependable enough to be the future.

This isn’t a comment on Zara but a request to comment on protecting the young adults known as ‘the future of Ukraine’. I heard a recent podcast from Ukraine The Latest where they report on the young medical professionals fleeing Ukraine.

As much as I want Russia to fail I’m concerned about what the chaos will bring to the rest of the world.

The infrastructure is currently unable to support a robust response to Russian invasion of the Baltic members of NATO. Standard exercises will at least reinforce the need to enhance the infrastructure.

At least the exercise is happening. While drones are tactically essential one other critical aspect is movement of forces to the invaded area.

Ukraine is the moral leader of the free world and is best prepared to defeat Russia. It just needs the weapons to do so.

Russian “irregular” troops at the border with Estonia has prompted a comment by Denys Davidov that Russia could initiate an invasion of the Sulwalki corridor with Russian soldiers posing as local Russian speaker partisans. NATO seems to be unprepared to respond. Your thoughts?

I understand the need for the greater Europe to focus on it’s own survival. The democracies of the IndoPacific have their own survival needs which must ween themselves from the US. Luckily Canada is also part of that group and should play an important role.

As a former US serviceman I weep at this incarnation of‘America’. Trump is the manifestation of a rot in the American body politic. Removing him doesn’t remove the rot.

Europe with Canada et al is currently the only hope for our democratic values.

The Bradley replacement, still being developed, has crew and capacity for six additional troops. It is the XM30 Mechanized Infantry Combat Vehicle.

The Booker isn’t the Bradley replacement. The Booker is a tank but doesn’t meet all the requirements of a light tank. More importantly it doesn’t carry troops other than the crew.
April 15, 2025 at 12:21 PM
As a former armor officer who commanded a cavalry troop consisting of tanks and IFVs I agree that the tank is on the way out while the Bradley is living up to and redefining its potential.

News of China’s restrictions of drone parts to Ukraine and the US is seriously troubling. I have no idea how realistic it is for Ukraine/US to fill in the gap with our own tech. China reportedly provides 80% of the tech currently which hints that we are flat footed in creating the needed capability

This could be an old video from when the US supported Kurds against ISIS. I’ve not found any credible coverage from normal media.

This information is presented so that those uninformed can grasp the implications. Regrettably many of my less informed friends and family follow me on Facebook so… I linked your website version of this post to my Facebook page. Now we wait to see if any of them take the bait.

Your work is impressive. I digest it all and regurgitate it during lunch with my friends. Initially they are impressed with my grasp of complex issues. I then tell them where I get my ideas. Now they think I’m ethical and have enough intelligence to find and follow someone worth their time. I

Your bio and mine are similar. Happy to meet you. You have so many great pieces that I can’t‘like’ them all but given time I will pay each appropriate homage.

This designed to deliver nukes which doesn’t need to be precise. When using conventional warheads you need precise targeting which this doesn’t provide.

Yes although I didn’t get to know him and only worked with him that day - very impressive.
