We’ll just have to disagree on what constitutes as ‘meddling’

Why are UK Political Party members involving themselves (meddling) in US Democracy? We can’t complain about our democracy being affected by US Politicians if our Political Party’s are doing the exact same thing meddling in US Democracy. I might be reading your original post but I don’t think I am.

There’s none taking on new patients in my little Ayrshire town either. Our dentist moved to Glasgow last year for a private practice that let her have more time at home with the kids (better money too) and they’ve been trying to recruit a new one for 9 months now

I don’t know if I’m reading that correct but why are UK Labour staffers meddling in the US election? Surely that goes both ways

Could you imagine if you got something like cancer and a guy you’ve known for years tells you ‘Oh - I don’t believe in that’. Mate, it doesn’t change what will kill me! I was baffled. What other illnesses do people think are a myth? I would genuinely like to know xx

I genuinely thought he was an intelligent man, a bit rough, but he’s a great delivery guy however my respect for his opinion plummeted into utter disappointment. If I catch Covid again - I’ll maybe just answer the door next time. After all - you can’t catch an imaginary illness(?)

Thankyou so much for getting back to me and recommending those sets. The type-writer one sounds fab and looks challenging enough (lol although I don’t look forward to explaining what a typewriter is! - she’s a great kid but sometimes she make us feel VERY old and dinosaur-y 🦖 🦕 ) Thankyou xxx

*it was frightening.

Honestly I’ve never seen her so immersed in a puzzle. Do you have any set you’d recommend? xx

I’ve never seen her so content. I’ve been supporting her since she was 11yrs old and we have her at the weekends. Now that we know this actively helps her relax - I’ll need to find a more complex one for her!

We got a kid the Lego Milky Way. Didn’t realise it was for 18+ (kid just 14yrs old) - not only did she finish it in two days, she bet the estimated time of 8hrs (she did it in 6 and a half). If was frightening - she was concentrating for hours (despite battling ADHD). She said it quietened her mind
