Thank you! Work has slowed me down recently but they're a lot of fun.

"Here's some advice, boy. Don't put your trust in revolutions. They always come around again." Just peak Pratchett.

The journeys of Kell Tainer and his biggest challenge, can he fit into the x-wing cockpit? Also second generation inherited PTSD.
October 20, 2024 at 3:12 PM
Unfortunately it doesn't look like it will let me (I assume because of some blue sky settings?).

I'll raise my hand for that, I would love to play (and have prior experience playing and running DG).
October 18, 2024 at 9:50 PM
That would be fun, also great job on the wings I picked up the Mothra vibe even before I saw the name.

Do they have a pair of tiny twins following around and hyping them up?
October 12, 2024 at 2:40 PM
Nah, we should copy the Russian model and see how well we can run them on a tight budget (for clarity I know it's more complex than that).
October 10, 2024 at 3:27 PM
Hahaha I'm not surprised it's even worse compared with my memory. So only 17+ launches!
September 22, 2024 at 11:02 PM
Hey, all that starship HLS has to do is get a tanker into orbit, then have between 8-12 further launches to fill it up doing something never been done before, and then another launch to get HLS up there, drain the tanker, and then go to the moon. Easy! (Sarcasm if that isn't clear)

It can't just be NASA moving from doing it all in house to only giving it to SpaceX, it needs a larger industry and I am worried about SpaceX dominance.
September 22, 2024 at 8:05 PM
I think the best approach would've been a dual track (NASA and commercial) but that would need more money than NASA is getting. I think the current approach to basically expand the tech base is a good one, as that theoretically gives NASA more talent to pull back in later. One big caveat to that!

As long as you're enjoying yourself and are happy with the result that's all that's really needed! There are people on there who are straight up sorcerers, but we all start somewhere.

Thanks! And the dwarves look great.
September 15, 2024 at 2:02 PM
Could you share what this fantastic looking centauresque mini is? While I'm working on other stuff at the moment I'd love to throw that on my wish list.
September 15, 2024 at 1:44 PM
That looks great! Very grizzled old man.
September 15, 2024 at 1:40 PM
Thanks! I only started painting about a year ago and it's been a very rewarding hobby to get into.
September 14, 2024 at 9:46 PM
Yeah, NASA has always contracted things out. My grandfather worked for Boeing back when that meant something and was involved with the Saturn V's, he had some stories!
