Yeah! Vinegar is an acid so it's good for eating through surface corrosion! Ideally you'd soak it but getting the contacts out is annoying 😞

That's so sad!! Definitely not worth the effort but you might be able to fix it by leaving some vinegar on them overnight.

Did the acid get on the battery contacts?
