Over the last months, I read the Aeneid and, unrelatedly, played through #TheLastOfUsPart2. Turns out their narratives are structurally similar, asking their characters (and the reader/player):

Episode 8 now and I've realized how good the audio mixing is, which very often will put a faded background noise/radio/voices which makes me stop and take off my headphones to make sure where it came from. This only happens with the JPN dub. Masterful immersion

Made time to finish Pot-Bouille. Another experiment in narrative structure, this time about what can be a protagonist: a building, turned inside out and brought to "fall flat", uncompromising in its depiction of the bourgeois morality/cosmology. Every lurch of emotion turned cold.
