I thought I was an empty nester, but God had different plans for me. Busy raising my granddaughter, going to church (Disciples of Christ), working for a non-profit (UCCR) after retiring from another company.

Eventually Ruth married a Jewish man. They had children, and grandchildren, and great grandchildren. And one of those great grandchildren became King David, Israel’s greatest king, and ancestor to Jesus.
