Ok these are two times the same scene from the Todd Strasser and A.L. Singer version of the Home Alone 2 novel respectively, see why I can't choose a favourite, they're both so good!!!
Just saying if I was his cellmate I would absolutely let him crawl in with me, no question.......
Excerpt from the Todd Strasser Novelization of Home Alone 2, edited to fit the scene onto one page. The text reads: "AHHHHHHHHHHH!" In a dark cell, Marv Murchens screamed in his sleep and woke up terrified. His heart was pounding and cold sweat poured down his face. He jumped out of bed and dashed across the cold concrete floor to his cell mate's bunk. "Excuse me." Marv tapped the man on the shoulder. "Whadya want?" snarled his cell mate, a huge brutish man, who thought Marv was a wimp. "I just had a bad dream," Marv gasped. "Would you mind if I crawled in with you?" Wham! The next thing Marv knew, he was sailing backwards. Thunk! Marv's head crashed into the wall and he sank down into his bunk, unconscious. In a cell nearby, Harry Lyme heard his partner's head hit the wall with a sickening crack." Excerpt from the A.L. Singer Novelization of Home Alone 2. The text reads: "Down the hall, in another cell, Marv awoke with a start. His eyes were wide with terror. Shaking, he walked over to his sleeping cellmate's bed. "I–I Just had a bad dream," Marv said. "Would you mind if I crawled in with you?" Without a word, Marv's cellmate sat up, his eyes bloodshot and his teeth clenched with rage. The bed creaked under his two hundret pounds. With a growl, he picked Marv up and hurled him against the wall. Harry winced at the sound of Marv thudding against the wall. That rotten kid was still giving both of them nightmares!"
