Not really 'darkest' but one of the endings I have for my WOL is that once she spearheads the development of Eitherys to a spacefaring, interstellar civilization, she doesn't let go of the reins and sort of becomes an ambivalent Bhunivelze-like "god queen" that's always ready for crushing trouble.

Difficult, but still less terrifying than carrying piece of good ol' Baha-Boi in her. It's like going up against a machine gun nest (difficult, but doable if you know what're you doing) versus going against a tank (Twelve help you if you're going against Bahamut that's *pissed off*)
