You have bangers like Head Like a Hole, Sin, Terrible Lie, and their cover of Queen’s Get Down Make Love. Plus Something I Can Never Have feels like the precursor for songs on The Downward Spiral and The Fragile.

Pretty Hate Machine is such an amazing debut album that laid the ground work for not only Trent’s desire for experimenting and expanding NIN’s sound in future albums and work but the passion for complete artistic control that is not dictated by label executives.

The arrival of Sunday means another Heroes Con is over. Loved seeing old faces and meeting some of my fave creatives for the first time while getting some wonderful pieces of art. Also great to finally find a copy of Mister Miracle #1 and a few other Fourth World issues to my collection.
