What I believe in:
Generosity and empathy toward others; Support of policies and actions enabling people to achieve social & economic stability; Mitigating environmental issues as best we can.
Thank you Gov Pritzker for your courage in standing up for democracy and the U.S. Constitution. I hope your example will encourage other elected leaders and the media to speak out clearly when federal officials actively undermine the rule of law and democracy in America.

It's impressive that so many people were willing to show up, including states where voters supported Trump's election.

I think many people who weren't at the No Kings rallies are also profoundly disturbed by the Trump presidency. If more protests are scheduled, the numbers of participants will probably continue to increase.

Trump never accepts responsibility for his bad acts -- he vigorously blames Biden, woke Libs, judges, etc for any problems he's created. Unfortunately he has a base of supporters who will never acknowledge that he is corrupt, dishonest and incompetent as president.

Please address the possibility that Trump is deliberately tanking the US dollar to benefit his family's crypto grift scheme.

Does it include a provision that would prohibit courts from enforcing contempt citations for violations of injunctions or temporary restraining orders unless the plaintiffs have paid a bond?

Thank you for your courage in speaking the truth about the Trump administration. Maybe this will give other prominent people the fortitude to speak out about the corruption, cruelty & undermining of democracy.

I hope all the Trump cronies are brought to justice for their crimes. The issues are whether the U.S.A. will still have a functioning legal system after Trump and whether all his criminal henchmen/women will escape justice via pardons.

What are you doing to stop Trump authoritarianism HRC?
May 6, 2025 at 3:19 PM
To Hillary Rodham Clinton: Are you doing anything to stop Trump's attack on democracy?
April 24, 2025 at 4:26 PM
I hope various organizations are keeping a detailed list of the transgressions being committed by Trump and his sycophants so that repairs to American democracy can start as soon as Trump is gone. In the meantime our best hope is that the judicial system will demand compliance with the Constitution.

Thank you Adam Kinzinger for calling out the unchristian actions of the Trump administration, and the hypocrisy of any Christians who support this horrible behavior.

Please hop on and strongly support Governor Mills of Maine.

This would be a good approach for the Democratic Party - if its leaders are serious about ousting the Republicans now destroying democracy and ethics in the U.S.

Agreed

Find ways to stop the current torrent of illegal actions by Trump & his cronies, and focus on getting a Democratic majority in the US House of Representatives in 2026.

The house of American democracy is burning down now - don't spend time rehashing the 2024 election. Trump won because 77+ million voters believed his lies & propaganda, effectively communicated via Fox News & social media.

I don't think sarcasm is helpful at this time.
