Yes, definitely okay to submit to multiple publishers, but it's always appreciated if you say you're doing that. Unfortunately, response time varies greatly from publisher to publisher and even from editor to editor at the same press.

Currently, I am especially interested in projects related to gender/sexuality in the HB, archaeology and everyday life in the ancient world, history/historiography, women in Scripture, and biblical reception history. (3/3)

I’m drawn to books that help readers understand texts that are especially troubling or confusing to modern readers or texts that have been misunderstood or used for violent or oppressive purposes. I'm always looking for books that can be used in classrooms—particularly seminary and undergrad. (2/3)
