Super disappointed to find out Carol Kaye will not be attending her RRHoF induction this year. I understand her explanation for refusing the honor, but the bass guitar is so underappreciated in music and her contributions are massive, she should welcome any attention received for it.

They want to overturn Obergefell and repeal the Respect for Marriage Act. The majority of Americans who have been silent on the issue of same-sex marriage (because it doesn't really affect them) need to STOP BEING SILENT because this could lead to rolling back other rights that DO affect them.
Breaking: The Supreme Court is now officially considering taking up a case overturning same-sex marriage.

I'm going to add that Reserve and NG need to attend a certain number of drills per year to qualify for retirement. Due to shutdown, many units are cancelling these drills. Imagine serving 19 years and then at 20 (the min. to retire) you can't complete that year's requirement. I'd be pissed.
