I can think of no clearer evidence that ICE's targets present zero threat than the fact that the citizens of Minneapolis are currently risking their lives just to keep keep them as neighbors.

This is a mischaracterization of centrism, democracy, and oligarchy.
Democracy *is* the middle ground, between anarchy and autocracy.
Oligarchy is not its antonym, but another middle point further along the spectrum toward autocracy.
The *majority* of the political spectrum is middle ground.
