A coming of age trans story set in high school football in WNY? What more could you ask for?
It’s hard to believe this was her debut novel. Highly recommend.
I don’t have much free time, but I read the whole thing in less than a week.

I enjoyed this, though I suspect I may have enjoyed it a bit more had I read Faust beforehand.

Our kid had a birthday party to go to so we didn’t think we’d make the protests, but then we drove through the Park Ridge one on the way home. We stopped and joined in the festivities for a bit.

Cubs game on in the background, finally getting around to this Star Wars Lambda Class Shuttle #Lego set I bought in Rochester.
There’s a great shop there called Bricks ROC that saved me a lot of money by offering me a used set.
But, that does mean the pieces aren’t bagged by step…
