About two weeks before Christmas, we lost our old man, Pete. He lived to almost 19, and for the past two years was slowly degenerating due to kidney disease. In the end, he couldn't walk (which is why he is wrapped in a blanket in his final moments). He was a legend and is very loved and missed.

I have a new son. His name is Gary, after my wife's father. He is 14 weeks old and about two pounds, and is so very chill.

My son, Hank, and HIS little white adopted son, Charlie.

I'd like everyone to meet my new son, Charles.

Pete is the oldest cat I have left. He turns 18 in April and he is very loved.

I lost my almost 18-year-old Sadie today. This is my final picture with her. Hold your pets a little tighter and love them a little bit harder tonight for me.

The wife took Christmas pictures of me and the cat (Empress) this morning. Hank (orange cat) hangs loose in the background.

Today, I turn 42.
